HELP MY MOMS DAYS BE HAPPY

My name is Elle Marie Faith Hintz and I'm 8 years old and writing this about my amazing mom with help from my brothers Jack and Reid.

She loves to sing, dance, and meet new people wherever she goes. My mom is the most beautiful, kind, and loving mom in the whole wide world.

My mom is Joan Dymand-Hintz and she was born in Dickinson, North Dakota. My dad Marc, was my moms’ high school sweetheart and they got back together and got married. I was born in Scottsdale, Arizona and we moved to Texas when I was 5. My mom, dad and I live in Corsicana, Texas. Even before I was born my mom has had cancer. She has had it in her breast, in her bones, and now she has brain cancer. She has been fighting it for almost 9 years now! I have two big brothers named Jack and Reid who live in Scottsdale, Arizona and go to college. Jack is 21 and Reid is 20. I have the two best brothers in the whole world and they are helping me to write this.

My mom was diagnosed with HER-2 breast cancer in August 2007 in the middle of the night. And 1 week later my mom found out she was pregnant with me!

My mom went to the Mayo Clinic for a mastectomy on her left breast in September, 2007. In November, my mom got her first treatment of chemotherapy while she was pregnant with me. She then underwent 5 more rounds of chemotherapy right up until I was born. The Mayo Clinic helped me to be born healthy!

My mom gave birth to me on March 12, 2008, and because of how healthy I was and how grateful she was, she made my middle name Faith.

After I was born my mom continued to have treatment and medical appointments every 2 or 3 weeks. She was taking so many medications to help her stay alive. Because of so much stress and medication, my mom had Congestive Heart Failure in 2009.

In January 2014, my mom was diagnosed with cancer in her bones in more than 7 places.

She had to take so many pain medications like morphine, to help with her extreme pain from her bones and joints. We were worried she was going to die.

This was so sad that she developed more cancer than she already had. But my mom is so strong and she said she will fight this too.

She seemed to be getting better so in July so we went to Costa Rica to have a vacation. But while we were in Costa Rica my mom got really sick with bad headaches and knew something was wrong. When we got back to Texas she went to Baylor University Hospital to get checked.

My mom had a scan of her brain and it showed that she had developed over 24 cancer tumors in her brain. This was in July 2015.

We were all so scared to get this news and felt so scared she would die. My mom cried and told me every day she loved me and that everything would be okay.

My mom then had whole brain radiation in early August to treat her cancer. She started to lose her hair again and feel very sick after her radiation.

The doctors have told us that my mom may not have a lot of time left with us. She is fighting her brain, bone, and breast cancer everyday but with all of her friends and family around  she is happy and thankful to have the time she has.

Me and my whole family love our mom so much and we hope to be able to afford her treatment and make the rest of her life peaceful and relaxing. I know my mom will keep fighting her cancer battle  and she will stay strong for all of us. She is so brave!

My brothers and I decided to make this fundraiser for my mom so we can afford to give my mom the best rest of her life she could wish for. She travels in a wheelchair and we want her to be able to fly handicapped access on planes and not have to take cheaper red-eye flights. The cost of us keeping her calm and happy and not having her worry about money is hard.

We hope to be able to pay for her medical bills and medicines so she doesn’t have to worry about anything.

My dad works hard to support our family and my moms’ treatment at the Mayo Clinic. I know that dad has spent all our money taking care of mom. We don’t see daddy as much as we want because he is always working. It has been very hard on everyone and we go without a lot of things.
HELP OUR MOM FOCUS ON THE IMPORTANT THINGS

We would be so grateful and blessed for any support you can give. We will use this fundraiser to pay for mom's medical bills for chemotherapy, radiation, and the medicines she needs to take. Hopefully we can pay all of her medical bills to give her peace of mind and a happy rest of her life.

My moms’ cancer is incurable and terminal. At her last checkup at the Mayo last month, it showed the tumors on her brain have not shrunk and have grown larger. We don't know how much time she has with us. We hope and pray it could be a few years with regular chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

My whole family and me would be so happy if we can surprise my mom with this fundraiser to help her win the biggest fight of her life. Hopefully we can make her life as happy as possible for the rest of her life. And give back to her for all of the loving things she has given to me, my brothers, my dad, and our friends and family.

Our amazing mom has been fighting so bravely for so long. She is an angel to everyone and doesnt deserve this to happen. It is so sad that such horrible things have happened. She is only 52 years old and I don't want to lose our mom.
