We took Honey to the vets as she started peeing in the house. An ultrasound found that she had stones in her bladder, and shortly after she received routine surgery to remove them. This cost us £1284.
The day after her surgery, Honey had to be rushed back in as she couldn't keep fluids down. She has been hospitalised ever since, and a second scan showed that her bladder is leaking into her abdomen and her urine is burning her inside. She desperately needs more surgery but we simply cannot afford it, plus all the follow up care and medication.
Honey has been part of our family for almost ten years. She is the most loving, gentle dog you could wish for, and her demeanour often means people mistake her for a puppy. We can't bear to lose her, but without your help that might be the case.
Please, please help however you can. We want to give her the best possible chance we can.
