Corporal Jorden Jones' Medical Fund

Donation protected
During the early morning hours of Saturday, October 17th, 2015 while, on his way to work, Jorden was involved in a horrific motor vehicle accident. Jorden was thrown from his vehicle and suffered an extensive spinal injury. Jorden was found by first responders near his vehicle and immediately life-flighted to a nearby Trauma Unit. He was rushed into surgery to replace a fractured vertebrae, and he has more surgeries scheduled to address the other injuries sustained. As a result of this trauma Jorden is now suffering from paralysis from the chest down.

Jorden grew up in multiple areas across the United States before he and his family settled in southwestern Pennsylvania where he graduated from Albert Gallatin High School. Although Jorden initially came across to his peers as shy everyone was quick to learn of Jorden's compassion and kindness. He has always been one to light up a room. When first meeting Jorden a smile is almost forced upon your face once you experience his good nature and his unwavering commitment to his family and loved ones.

Jorden graduated from high school on a Friday in the spring of 2010 and the following Sunday he was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his four years of service Jorden rose to the rank of Corporal and was awarded numerous Honors before moving onto other career opportunities.

Jorden was looking forward to spending more time with his young son, Cameron, and newborn daughter, Alaina. Jorden found an opportunity at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Pittsburgh where he quickly became a valued Team Member and again was praised and rewarded for his superb customer service skills and unsurpassed work ethic.
Since the accident Jorden has not been able to leave his hospital bed. He has a long road ahead of him which will be marked by several more surgeries, mounting medical bills, and a grueling rehabilitation process. Through all of the hardships and heartache Jorden's sole priority and goal is to find a way to provide for his family.
We ask that you generously donate, no matter the amount, to aid Jorden in re-establishing his life and providing for his family. Jorden's employers at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? have generously pledged to match up to $5,000.00. It is this kind of heartfelt support that Jorden and his family are in desperate need of right now.
