This is my little guy Jimothy. He is a very shy boy who loves eating, cuddling & falling asleep in your lap, and gnawing exposed toes.
I noticed he was eating a lot more slowly than usual (which is strange because he LOVES food and is a very food-motivated cat) and he was chewing strangely when I gave him dry treats. Upon further inspection when I was brushing his teeth, I noticed his right canine tooth was chipped about halfway up the tooth!
(I managed some quick pictures while he napped in my sock drawer)
I brought him to the vet, who, after a quick probing, realized enough of the spongey inside of the tooth was exposed that it warranted surgery. Otherwise, it could risk an abscess forming which is potentially very dangerous for him.
Jimothy means the absolute world to me, and he is such a sweet little cat who is so full of love and affection that I can't imagine letting him remain in pain. If you could spare anything to go towards his surgery, I would be incredibly grateful.
The total charges comes to $1148.13 with tax included, and these costs include administering IV catheter/fluids, the insertion of an endotracheal tube, the extraction surgery itself, an anti-biotic shot post surgery, and pain medication to go home with.
Jimmers is only recently turning one, and I want him to lead a long & happy life. I'm asking for your help to fund this surgery to ensure he gets the chance.
