Hello ,
The year was 1994 my sister Tammy Walters meets the one who sweeps her off her feet.Jim Barrett is his name and on 7/31/1999 he takes my sisters hand in marriage.For the last 18 1/2 years they have walked side by side as one another's best friend in life.They soon realized that they wanted to complete their family with 2 great children.What makes this so special is they were given the gift to choose their children and create a beautiful family together with Nick now 13 and Samantha now 10.For years now they have been raising their wonderful children to follow Christ footsteps and teach them life lessons of kindness and respect and willingness to give to others without receiving in return.Together as a family they attend Hillcrest Baptist Church.Tammy is a 2nd grade school teacher at Watertown Elementary School.Jim is a school teacher at Watertown Middle School where he is a Special Education Assistant.For everyone that knows or gets a chance to meet my sister Tammy or Jim Barrett,You know they are kind souls. A few weeks ago Jim was diagnosed with Glioblastoma stage 4 brain tumor.He has since had surgery to remove the tumor and soon will start radiation and chemotherapy to kick its butt.He has high spirits as does Tammy .Together they will walk hand in hand as God leads them through this challenge in life.I am writing this in hope to raise money for my sister and Jim.I want them to be able to pay their bills and their medical bills that are fast approaching, and hopefully to be able to send them on a memorable family vacation to get family time.I understand times are hard for everyone if you cant help that is ok, please re-post this or send to others that may know them .No amount is too small.Saying a prayer cost nothing ,so please pray for my sister and Jim and their family.If there are also other ways you would like to help feel free to contact me [email redacted] I want to personally thank everyone that takes the time to read this and forward this.To all of the Cancer Survivors you are amazing and we love you.
