As many of us in Baltimore are aware, there was a terrible incident in Fells Point in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 6th. Outside of one of our local bars, DogWatch Tavern, Jill was the unfortunate victim  and she needs our support.

Jill and her husband, CJ, have an incredibly long and hard road of recovery ahead of them. The list of injuries that she sustained is long and she will likely require many surgeries. They need our help to get them through this challenging time.

One thing that Baltimore does well is band together to support our neighbors. Please consider helping them in any way that you can. All of the money raised will go directly to the Borams to help them get through this.

Thank you in advance for any support that you can give.

An update from Jill's mom:

Thank you all for this outpouring of support for my daughter. Please keep her in your prayers today as she has surgery to repair her injuries...they say not life threatening but most definitely life altering.

Kelley, you are so wonderful and kind to start this fundraiser for this poor girl. I hope she makes a full recovery! As for the people commenting that it was no accident, the guy who hit her did not intentionally try to hurt her. And what difference does it make when trying to help the victim? People should make uplifting comments or none at all.

Jill I'm so sorry for what you are going through. You are in my thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery. As for the driver, Orlando Redd, his prior record is longer then Freddie Grays. At the moment his lawyer is painting him as the victim. This criminal should not have been out in the streets to begin with.
