Tyler Carpenter family

Hello everyone! Im Yen, Im from Oklahoma, but currently living in Texas. I met Tyler in 2011 at MDA camp, Ive attended the camp for 3 years.  The reason why I have started this fund is because I want to help Tyler and his family out as much as I possibly can with their financial situations. I have started this fund in hope that those who are close to his family, or EVEN complete strangers, would be willing or able to donate anything that would help keep Tylers hospital bills paid, or anything else that they need at this time. No one will ever know the unimaginable pain that they are experiencing right now, but I do know that they don't need to have an extra burden weighing in their minds, especially finances. While going through this tough situation, all I want is their main focus to be on Tyler. I care about Tyler so much, he has the sweetest soul. Im so far away, and havent been able to make it back to see him, so i wanted to help them out in some sort of way.

If many of you dont already know about Tyler, Tyler is 11 years old,  he was diagnosed with Friedreich's ataxia in 2010, and also living with autism, diabetes type 1, and has a heart condition. If many of you dont know what Friedreichs Ataxia is a rare inherited disease that causes nervous system damage and movement problems.
Tyler went into cardiac arrest on friday January 29th and was rushed to Children's Hospital; because he was unresponsive for so long, and didnt have a pulse, his brain went without oxygen for a while. They were able to revive him.. but he was still in such a critical stage. It's with a heavy heart that they  made the decision to withdraw the cardiac meds tomorrow morning and make Tyler as comfortable as possible. The damage to his brain has been extensive. Our Tyler is not coming back to us. We are not sure how long it will be that his body will continue on, but they expect another cardiac event will happen without the medicines that has been maintaining him. We are heartbroken but ready for him to slip these earthly bonds and be free of a body that was very unkind to him.
