Francisco Flores has endured numerous rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments which have caused physical, emotional and financial hardship on him and his family. In April of 2018, our father was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. He fought the battle until October 31, 2018 when he went in for a surgery to remove the tumor. On November 7, 2018 he was told he was cancer free. He entered remission. In late January of this year, we were informed about something terrible. His cancer came back and it came back with a vengeance. His cancer had spread to his bones. He began chemotherapy and radiation again. He continued to fight and fight all he could but cancer was beating him. The mass was found on his pelvis. A month later we found out there were 3 more tumors in his lungs. Shortly after it spread to his rib cage and then his skull. My father lost the battle on May 12, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.. He was an admirable man. He helped those who needed him without hesitation. Every one who met him knew the jokester he was. He always left someone with a smile. It was always laughter and positivity around him. This all happened so sudden. We all didn’t expect this to happen so soon. We were not prepared for this emotionally, mentally and financially. We are reaching out for help. Anything and everything is appreciated. Thank you.
