A Trip Fit For Princess Millie

For those of you who are lucky enough to have met Camille ( Millie), you know that she is the epitome of sunshine, spunk and inspiration. For those of you who do not know her, I assure you that you would fall in love with her positive outlook, caring disposition and beautiful heart and soul in no time. For the last 7 months, this tough little warrior has been putting up a spectacular fight against Stage 4 Anaplastic Wilms Tumor. Millie isn't done fighting yet, however, two days ago, she and her mother received devistating news from her doctors, who told them that they recommend to stop treatment because her cancer has progressed so far and is so aggressive that they feel there is nothing more they can do to stop it.
Last month, Millie was granted a wish from the organization The Dream Factory Of Greater Kansas City and got to meet one of her idols, Rachel Platten, who sings a song that has been her theme song through her fight. When she was granted this wish, neither Millie, nor her mother Jessica, had any idea that any news like that she has recieved this week, was anywhere in their future.
There has not been a time frame given at this time, but Jessica is trying to make as many dreams come true for her daughter as she possibly can and as soon as possible. Millie would like to go to Disney World to meet the princesses there and also to swim in the ocean with her mom and her big brother Max. Her birthday will be on November 13th and some of these funds will go towards creating the best birthday party ever!
I believe that especially at times like these, most people want so badly to do something and to help, but that they all too often don't realize their own power and feel helpless. We have an opportunity right now to come together and make Millie's dream come true and I propose that we give whatever it is that we can individually and collectively, we will make that happen.
Jessica has full access to this page and to the funds here and either she or I will post updates as they come. Any donations that are made above and beyond the trip and birthday party expenses will be used by Jessica, Millie and Max to help them be able to do whatever they would like to do as a family right now.
