About Bryce:
Bryce Simon is an aspiring movie producer who is setting his aim at producing films like Will Smith and Steven Spielberg. Since elementary school, he has been writing scripts and producing movie shorts making neighborhood friends stars of the show. His future plans include owning his own company, Simon Enterprises, where he will produce movies, develop software, and master innovative game design. When you think of technology, he wants you to remember the name Bryce Simon.
Bryce’s love for videography goes beyond his neighborhood. He has produced videos for the African Methodist Episcopal Church’s district-wide, two-day conference and several other religious functions. He assisted with the production of a horror film that is currently in production. Most recently, Bryce was selected as the videographer for AIG’s Global Women in Technology Empowerment Event held in New York City. He produced a commercial for the event and a full length recording that will be featured on AIG’s internal website.
Bryce also enjoys website design and graphic arts. He has developed several websites including sites for the Neighborhood House and Bethel Morristown.
When Bryce is not behind a camera or a computer, he is giving back to his community. He is a favorite counselor at the Presbyterian Church’s Vacation Bible School where the director praised him as “one of the best counselors we’ve ever had.” He also participated in the “Teach for a Day” program where he enjoyed teaching math and reading to disabled children.
Bryce hopes to start a charity for homeless veterans. He states that “No one should have to go through the stress, shame, and embarrassment of living on the streets, especially our vets. Vets do more to protect our citizens than police officers. They put their lives at risk in highly hostile environments, get paid less, and when they retire, America forgets about them like their personal sacrifice and contributions did not matter.”
Bryce’s favorite subjects are Broadcasting, Math, and Science.
Bryce is the recipient of three awards: the D.A.R.E award for positive attitude, the Robert D. Henry Sterling Character Award, and the Bethel Morristown Young Man of the Year 2014 award.
Bryce has a simple motto that shapes how he approaches life: “Crying is a waste of time. Keep your head up so you can move up.”
