Jessie's Foster Clothing Closet

Donation protected

Most people don't foster due to the expense of getting started. Lets change that! These children have been through enough and deserve a loving home (especially for Christmas). Most come to foster homes with only the clothes on their backs, making it a financial burden for foster parents to buy everything they need quickly.  Please consider helping raise money to fund a local Foster Clothing Closet for Regions 7 (Delaware County) and 11 (Madison County). We accept gently used and new clothes/shoes for all children of all ages. These clothes will be donated to local foster children. We also will be accepting new, unopened toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby wipes, diapers, nipples, bottles, formula, baby food, baby body wash, baby detergent (dreft), and any other necessary items/toiletries for babies and children.  The money raised will go towards buying laundry soaps, totes for storage, storage space, and gas for picking up and delivering these items. Also, any excess money will be used to purchase new items above (or for the holiday season to provide Christmas gifts for fosters in need).
If you are unable to afford to make a donation, that's perfectly fine. Please consider donating items, volunteering to help wash, sort, package, and deliver clothes, or becoming a CASA volunteer and donating time to advocate for these children in court. CASA volunteers are their only voice!

Update: This was all completed this weekend! Picture of the shop coming soon!!!
