Medical Care for Jessica

Donation protected
Little Jessica lives in Burundi, Africa.  She is 5 years old, and in 2016, she accidentally drank from a cup that contained acid.  These are the kinds of things that happen when fresh water is not available for children.
In October of 2016, she became unable to eat or drink due to scar tissue in her esophogus, and since that time, she has been slowly loosing weight and hope in a local hospital.  Because the hospital does not have liquid tube-feeding nutrition, she is only being fed "mash".  As a result, she continues to loose weight at an alarming rate.
Thankfully, one of the top esophageal reconstructive surgeons in the United States has agreed to treat Jessica at a charity hospital.  This could could restore her ability to eat and drink and enable her to live a normal life as a happy little girl!
Jessica is scheduled to be seen at this hospital in Boston on March 4th, so we need to move quickly to raise the funds for visas and plane tickets for Jessica and her mom.
These funds will enable us to get Jessica here in time for her surgery date.  This situation is urgent and we need to move quickly as Jessica is growing weak.  We are working with a ministry partner in the country who is checking on her weekly.
Background Details:
We know about Jessica through our ministry partner in Burundi through Jodi's work with the Christian Alliance for Orphans.  A pastor who volunteers on my team, Pastor Enock, met Jessica one day when he was visiting another patient at the hospital in Bujumbura.  Pastor Encock realized that Jessica had no hope of a long life without more advanced medical care, and asked me to help, as he knows I have worked with small teams to arrange other medical visas.
Once donations are collected, we are using them to purchase the plane tickets for her (and her mother)  to travel, so the donations will be paid to the missionary travel agent who assists us.  The travel agent will put the tickets on a credit card belonging to Jodi, and Jodi will pay the card with these funds.  For any other expenses, we send small amounts to Burundi via a missionary partner in Burundi that we trust. This partner provides me with receipts for all expenses (such as the cost of Jessica's passport or visa.)
