Jesse Holt Legacy Fund - NW Express

Jesse Holt is the legendary founder of the Miami Northwest Express Track Club and the Annual Northwest Track and Field Classic. While serving in this capacity he was able to coach, inspire, mentor and transform the lives of countless youth and families in South Florida and around the world. Coach Holt was a generous man and he shared his personal resources to help create opportunities for those who were less fortunate than he was. Just ask any of his athletes and they will tell you, "Coach was a good man... he made sure we had a chance to succeed,..he saved my life and was simply the best!" Coach Holt has made a mark in our lives that can never be forgotten nor erased.

We are sad to announce to the world that our beloved coach passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age of 73. In lieu of sending flowers please support his legacy and the organization that he dedicated his life to building.  

The Memorial Wake Service will be held on:

We are encouraging  all former athletes, parents, coaches, friends, families, businesses, sponsors and concerned citizens to make a tax deductible donation if they would like to support the Track Club, and that they make plans to attend his memorial services.

The Miami Northwest Express Track Club will continue serving the youth and families in our community and we will continue hosting our Annual Northwest Track and Field Classic every year in June.

All donations collected will be used to help defray the costs of running our program, to purchase uniforms and training supplies, and to provide valuable resources for us to help sponsor kids from our club to compete in multiple national and international competitions.
