Help Out Kelly Dale
This past week, Jeremy very suddenly passed away, shocking everybody. We're all heartbroken to learn of his passing and can't even begin to imagine what his wife, Kelly must be going through during this time.
We're raising money to help Kelly out with Jeremy's medical bills and to help with everything else so she can have this time to focus on her grieving process.
Please find it in your hearts to donate anything that you can to help out an amazing artist and an amazing person and the amazing family that he left behind all too soon.
It's 11:40pm on Friday, the third day of this campaign, and I gotta say, you 218 people who have contributed are amazing human beings! I have the honor of being in Atlanta right now to attend Jeremy's funeral tomorrow morning. Tonight, a group of friends gathered at the funeral home to comfort Kelly, the family, and each other. I got there a bit late, but my perspective was that it was kinda like a somber convention after-party. We all felt like we should be talking about comics, art, upcoming new and fun stuff ... and we missed having Jeremy there to chime in. Yeah, I know, he WAS there, a small part of him that each of us will always carry with us, but it just wasn't the same. And it never will be again. And that sucks. We've said it and heard it before, but I'll say it again: if you love someone, even if you just kinda like someone, let them know. Now. Tomorrow. The day after that, and on and on. Keep telling them, showing them, sharing with them. Life is short, and sometimes it gets cut even shorter than anyone would have expected. Don't ever put off a chance to let those people in your life know how much they mean to you. Kelly, we love you so very very very much. And we love Jeremy; always will. We can only begin to imagine how tough things have been for you and the family this week, and the ongoing toughness of life from here on out. Just know that we are here for you, and we want you always here with us. Anything you need, any time of day or night, you have a huge FAMILY standing ready. Today. Tomorrow. The day after that, and on and on.
