Jenna's Medical Care

On Thursday November 12th 2015, 8 year old Jenna was involved in a car accident. From what I' ve learned Jenna's mother started having a seizure while driving in the area of Owen Center and Riverside. Jenna being her courageous self removed her saftety belt and jumped into the front seat to assist her mother, and to keep her 2 baby sisters safe. The vehicle they were traveling in struck a tree head on leaving Jenna pinned under the dash board and substaining several server injuries.  Jenna suffered fractures to both femurs, a broken jaw in 3 locations, and had 4 teeth knocked out. Jenna was responsive when the first responders arrived at the scene. From what we have been told our little Jenna bug stayed strong throughout the entire ordeal.  We as her loved ones would expect nothing less from this little one. She is a true defintion of the term  "hero" in my eyes! They now have her sedated to try and keep her comfortable. Jenna has gone through one of many surgeries already for her legs, placing plates, rods and pins. As of Novemeber 13th 2015 the decision was made to transport her to Children's Hospital in Madison for special care and surgeries she needs in regards to her jaw fractures. With a traveling daddy from her home town here in Machesney park to Madison, to tolls, hotels fees so daddy can say near and dear, and the many surgeries to come in her future, to accommodate her home for her care once she is able to return home to her loved ones, is more than one person can imagine, let alone bare on their own. Jenna is strong, brave, and loved by many! She is a figther with a long road ahead of her in recovery. She needs all the love and support she can get! She is her daddy's world! He himself being a disabled veteran, and a single father of 2 young girls with limited income.  The fundings just aren't available for what it's going to take to make sure our Jenna bug is on her way to recovery. With holidays fastly approaching us, I would like to try and give a little relief to her daddy. No donation is to small.  Much love from all of us here at #teamjennarose to you, thank you!
