A YOGA TEACHER TRAINING FUND IN MEMORY OF JENNIFER LYNNE MOREY
On April 8th, 2017, Jenn (age 40), lost her long-fought battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Through nearly four years of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries, she continually found her peace through the practice of yoga, which she had begun years before while living in Seattle.
Over the years, she attended teacher trainings at Yogaville in Virginia as well as the Kripalu School of Yoga, becoming a certified yoga instructor and even, as she fought cancer herself, attending a training on teaching yoga for cancer. She participated in a year-long teacher training with Shiva Rea that ended in December 2016, just months before she passed.
Jenn was a passionate yogi whose light shined the greatest when she shared her passion with students and her fellow yogis. In memory of Jenn, our family is setting up a fund to send aspiring yoga instructors to yoga teacher training, so that they may in turn spread the peace and light of yoga with many others. We hope you will help Jenn's light to shine on.
