Lindsay Diaz Rowlett Tornado
#rebuildforlindsay. Thank you to all of those that have donated your time, money, and prayers.
My situation just got a little harder as of March 22nd, when a demolition company mistakenly demolished my home. It was severely damaged from the tornado on December 26, 2015 but was repairable. We just submitted the permit to build and I was so excited to begin the journey to rebuilding my life. So quickly did that come to an end! I was hoping to spend my son's first birthday in a new home but will have to celebrate it in a rental home instead. I appreciate everyone's support through this hard time, without you, I would probably lose hope. I have created a twitter account so you can follow me at @RowlettMistake and use the hashtag #rebuildforlindsay on Twitter and Facebook. Thank you all again and we will keep you updated on how our life progresses towards rebuild.
Hello all, I just wanted to thank everyone again for your donations to help rebuild my life. I am extremely under insured and your contributions will help tremendously. FEMA has denied the individual assistance for the victims of this tornado but the Governor has 30 days to file an appeal. Channel 8 News has interviewed me on how I feel about FEMA's decision and it will air tonight at 5pm. I hope that you all can check it out!
Thank you Michelle! I will check that out
Thank you all so much! This means so much to me and my family. The road to recovery will be long and rough, but knowing that i have people that care for me makes it so much better.
