Brownville's Food Pantry For Deer
When moving to Brownville my dad continued to do what he loves to do, feed the deer. Within a week, there were 20 deer coming for dinner. My dad had to adjust the amount of oats to adequately feed the deer. A month later there was 40-50 deer coming. 7 years later my dad has over 130 (hard to count the exact amount). Each deer requires 3-4 pounds of oats to sustain their health. We are asking for your support in helping this very dedicated man help the deer survive another winter.
For the past 17 years my family has had the pleasure of watching the deer play and run. Seeing my dad's happiness though doing such a kind and selfless act is something we all cherish.
Please help "Brownville's Food Pantry For Deer." Receiving just Social Security has gotten too hard for him to maintain the growth of the herd. Please visit our Facebook page "Brownville's FoodPantry for Deer" to keep up to date with the herd. Also check out the link on the bottom of the page to see a segment from Channel 2's 207. Any donation is appreciated and the deer and I thank you so much.
The oats are purchased locally, supporting Maine business. This year over $6000 worth of oats were purchased. All donations will go towards the purchase of oats.
Thanks to everyone's support for last years season. All support is greatly appreciated!
