As you may know our good friend Jay Bird was a very enthusiastically golfer among other things, we had the same 4some for over 10 years and played mostly Sunday mornings at the Montauk Down state park  , it was the high light of all our weeks but especially for Jay , he loved the comardary of been out on the course , Jay wasnt interested in shooting a low score , he only wanted to be out there and have fun and have bragging rights for the following week , 
                                                                   To honor our friend we would like to have a memorial bench installed in his name on the course at the Montauk Down Golf Course. The cost of the bench is $1500 , once our $ goal is reached , I (Declan Conroy ) will receive said money and organize with the Downs of Montauk and get it going .
