Jaxson's Journey

Donation protected
For anyone who hasn't heardb Jaxson has just gone through some life changes that will forever be with us all. On February 19th, after weeks of dealing with constant headaches with him, and his drs office stating to wait longer, we as a family decided to just go right to the emergency room. We arrived around 1145ish, as we waited there for hours they finally decided to give him a CT scan around 5. During his time waiting there he was in excruciating pain. After waiting a while, the Dr came back stating that he had a brain tumor. And we were to be brought to Boston children's that night in an ambulance. After arriving in Boston that night, surrounded by family, we were finally placed into the icu unit around 3 in the morning. There we waited for the determination of what, and where to go to next. It was decided that he needed an MRI in the a.m. Followed by brain surgery to remove the tumor in his cerebellum. On Monday February 20th, Jaxson left our room at 8 a.m. And didn't come back to us until 530pm. That was the longest day of my life, after hearing they did get all of the tumor I felt like we were in the clear. But come to find out, we weren't. They did tell us that it was a cancerous medulloblastoma. I couldn't believe this was happening to us. I felt so scared, upset and confused. We left Boston that Thursday, to come back and recover at home. March 3rd I got the phone call from Bostons children's that Jaxson will need both chemotherapy and radiation. My world just came crumbling down. We've officially transferred him to Maine medical for his therapy which will start in a few weeks. We also are waiting for the spinal tap to be done to see if it has already spread to his spinal cord. I have faith that our family in heaven is watching over him, and won't make this any worse for us. Currently I have been out of work to be with my baby during these scary and confusing times. I will have to be out of work for at least 9-12 months, then we'll be expecting our new baby boy. So currently I have no income coming into our home. All the funds for this will be going to home bills, and on top of it, money for traveling to Portland. We are in high hopes that everything will work out, and he will be a survivor. But I am asking for help. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated by my family and me.
