The Java Joint
I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. Leviticus 26:4
We know exactly how the Biblical Noah felt as the torrential rain fell, and waters of Lake Bonham overflowed into our business, the Java Joint. A foot of muddy water ruined everything we spent six years building as residents and business owners in Bonham.
It is almost too much to think about. We actually thought we could mop up the mess and the lake water was still flowing onto our business. It was overwhelming to see the dream of a lifetime buried and our furniture and food floating around us.
We cannot let the devastation left by the rain deter our ability to rise again and bear new fruit. We are determined, and with the help of our family, friends, neighbors and guests, we will reopen the Java Joint as quickly as possible.
We have a huge task in front of us! As the water recedes, the cleanup begins. We are strong and determined. But, determination alone will not reopen the Java Joint.
That’s why we are asking YOU to help us purchase furniture and supplies to be able to once again share a cup of coffee or Daily Inspiration (meal) with us.
No amount is too small. And, every donation will be acknowledged.
