Hello I have started this campaign for Mel's Daughter Jassy who has just been diagnosed with a kidney disease which has resulted Jassy being relocated in the Brisbane hospital for the last few weeks and another 4 weeks minimum before they can return home back to Cairns.
Following is a discription of Jassy's Story:
Jasmyn is a 12 year old Muay Thai fighter with a Strong fighters spirit. she has been diagnosed with a kidney disease Membranoproliterative glomerulonephritis (Nephritis) and her kidneys are only functioning 2%. Jassy was severely anaemic & went into heart failure,she had to have 2 blood transfusions,2 surgeries,a biopsy, haemodialysis treatment and has just had another surgery to put in a more permanent peritoneal dialysis tube into her abdomen so we can continue the treatment at home. Jasmyn will be needing a kidney transplant in the near future also. This ordeal has already had a huge impact on her future as she will need ongoing medical care. Jasmyn is unable to wear certain clothes , have sleepovers or compete in Mauy Thai & boxing tournaments, swimming and gymnastics. It's going to be a long road ahead .
We are doing this with the hope to take a little financial pressure and stress off their shoulders so they can focus 100% on what is important. This journey has been a roller coaster emotionally, physically and financially. And will be quite challenging for a long time.
We all know Mel and Know that she is there for anyone in need when it comes to things like this but would find it difficult to ask for help herself.
Donations will go towards bills and any medical expenses, plus everyday living expenses. Every donation is appreciated, no matter what the amount, it all counts.
