Jason's urgent story from 3 team members...

"On March 21st, Jason Lee Jones, a singer, musician, missionary, was diagnosed with THROAT CANCER. This was an unexpected and shocking discovery.  God’s hand and favor has been evident in the process from the beginning as the diagnosis was made quickly and the medical care has been initially covered by a local medical charity for those without insurance.  The overall prognosis is good, but it’s clear that the road to recovery ahead will not be an easy one.  He is looking at SIX MONTHS of being home for treatment and recovers. TWO MONTHS of AGGRESSIVE CHEMO & RADIATION,  and then FOUR MONTHS of RECOVERY and possible surgery.  The charity has limited resources, so there will be medical bills Jason and Gina will have to cover.  Jason brings in the family’s main source of income through the ministry, which he will be unable to do for at least 6 months. There will be MEDICAL BILLS &  LIVING EXPENSES that need to be covered ASAP since Jason has been home all of March and will MISS SIX MONTHS OF WORK. Jason and Gina have sacrificed so much and passionately poured out their lives for the Lord and countless people for over 20 years.  They have deeply touched so many of our hearts.  Now is a beautiful opportunity to give back to them in their time of great need, both through our prayers and our financial support.  Their faith through this process has been incredible and they are believing for a miracle and for God to receive much glory through this.  Let’s help carry them, surround them with love and support and believe with them for this miracle!"

"It is with a burdened, but very hopeful, heart that I make this request of friends and family of Jason Lee Jones, my brother in law. Very recently he was diagnosed with throat cancer. For those that know him, you know that he is an extraordinary human being that has dedicated his life to God. The lives that Jason has touched and brought to God around the world is uncountable. His unending dedication and devotion to the Lord through his music and voice is his livelihood. That is why this disease, especially because of where it has afflicted him, is so crucial to hit head on and immediately with very aggressive radiation and chemotherapy. Jason is a strong man and very physically fit for his young age of 44. We know and believe that with your help he will be able to beat this disease with a full recovery to get him back on the road. Without insurance to cover the already increasing costs of unforeseen treatment, the next months are going to be difficult for him and his family. Your support during this time for Jason is going to allow him to focus on fighting and beating this disease without worrying about how he is going to be able to make ends meet for his family; his wife and two young children, since he will miss 6 MONTHS of his traveling missionary & philanthropic work with The Godbreed & Iris Savannah . Even the smallest amount of financial support during this time will go a long way in helping the family. Please help us to give back to Jason and his family some of the love and support that they have so selflessly given of themselves through their dedication to the ministry over the past 20 + years. Even if you don’t have the means to help out financially, your love and prayers would be very well received. We appreciate every single one of you for all your love, gifts of time, prayer, love, or any creative support during this time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will keep you updated on his status. God is good."
Kory & Andrea Reeves, your brother-in-law & sister.

"One of my dearest friends. My brother (truly, don’t mess). I remember the phone call. The news. The surprise. The lament. The sorrow. But, more than all,  the hope. And the joy of Jesus over my brother's life. In the midst of my fear and confusion about it all...the thing he says continually? “The devil messed with the wrong man. I’m going to preach Jesus even harder and stronger than ever before. Even if I lose my voice, I will still shout Jesus in my inner man.”
So thankful to know him and his family. In the midst of a cancer diagnosis, he has a true John the Baptist message (tattooed, big bearded, wild eyed and all)...”prepare the way of the Lord”.
Find friends who call you higher. Especially in the midst of trial. Find friends who call you higher.
Support and love looks like something. Nobody can be prepared for this kind of news practically. Let’s rally together. For healing in all ways. Any little bit helps. Yesterday, 9:42 PM"

Today is a significant one. 18 of 35 scheduled radiation treatments puts us over a halfway mark. We are still crossing the Jordan. Pressed but not crushed. Most days are a 5 or 6 out of 10. There are some 7’s in there too! We are steadfast in this journey. He’s lost 23lbs. We need to shift that! Prayers for the tenacity to down those blasted protein shakes! Keep sharing & encouraging! You all are fantastic at it!!! #jasonleejoneshope

Yall! Love looks like YOU! Love looks like prayers from Cairo Egypt and Fortaleza Brazil coming to you at the midnight hour. Love looks like a friend fasting food for days on end on your behalf! Love looks like packages in the mail with comforting lozenges , and thoughtful gifts for your children. Love looks like squeezing you into your barber chair to shave the beard away. Love looks like home made dinner and specially chosen groceries delivered right to our front door. Love looks like a night of worship at a church in Daytona tonight. Again, we weep in the gathering. In the midst of this journey we are quietly learning to lean all the more into the heart of Jesus. Thank you for loving us, supporting us, and continuing to share in the path to healing. I have a friend. His name is Jason. He and his family have been through thick and thin with me and my husband. They have been the voice of love, comfort, wisdom, hope inspiration. They have always pointed us to the face of Jesus, inspired us to be wild, crazy barbaric lovers of Christ...and people, to never give up hope, be violent in our pursuit of the knowledge of God, settling for nothing less than the face to face bread of His presence. I met Jason in the dirt of VA crying out for Jesus to show us more of His face. Was introduced to my husband because of our connection, and have been connected ever since. We have walked through the low places and high places and always we have seen Jason and his family take the low road that Jesus would be made high. You can always find him in a crowd, because he is the one serving, comforting, worshiping low... always at the feet of Christ hungry for Him to reveal His true authentic intimate Self to in and through his friend Jason.

The Jones watch sports with us, have bbqs with us, listen to our crazy stories, share tears and joys and never ever turn their backs even, when we deserve it . They believe God for all things and in all things and they face every challenge with grace and peace and fiery unextinguisable faith.

Jason is one of the most proactive people i know, in everything - relationships, talents, business, creativity, innovation and HEALTH. When i met him, he started a journey of seeking out his healthiest state of being - in all aspects body mind and spirit - but did something so many of us dream of doing, and changed his whole lifestyle, from diet and exercise, to vitamins supplements, the liquids he drank, the music and art he listened to and observed, the thoughts he allowed in his head, the mindsets and patterns he cultivated...

And now armed with all this strength, instilled in him by the grace and power of God, he is defeating cancer. He and his family are inspiring tens of thousands of people all over the world facing hard things to put their hope in God and do the hard things, walk through the valley and let joy be their strength in the journey.

Here is my moment to help give back, pay it forward, to be a small part of the Jones miracle... i am asking, if you know me, if you love me, if you trust me, if you want to be a part of something that is eternal not just globally, but for this family of four, that live down the road from us, but also in our hearts...

If you are reading this, i ask you to give to their GoFundMe account just $5, and then share this post or something like it with everyone you know. ALL OF THE MONEY RAISED, goes towards the basic needs of Jason and his family during this season of healing and recovery. Let’s get behind, let’s hold up and let’s cover this family with more than enough than they could need or ask for. I believe God can do unimagineable things with the little we each have, when we pool it together and add to it our faith!!!!

I love you all and bless you in your journey!

Follow jason and his journey on instagram, he is updating and documenting pretty regularly - the highs and lows - so we can all, near and far, revel in the beauty of what God is doing.
Love to you all,
Sue Salles

Hello everyone! We're still in the beginning of the journey of hope through throat cancer. Jason's been a real trooper. This will not silence him. Even in pain, we laugh. Even when exhaustion tries to set in, we press on. It's not an easy path, but our outlook determines much. J was at the piano just now singing out! It's on his FB Live if you missed it. Anyway, he's completed 12 radiation treatments of 35 and 3 chemo doses of 6. We've already seen a significant decrease in the size of the tumor area! We just want to thank you and give you an update. Prayer points: 1) That he can continue eating well 2)No weight loss 3) The pain in his throat will decrease. 4) Cancer is eradicated and his healthy cells are spared and even strengthened. We have complete confidence in Jesus. He will see this thing through til the end. Thank you for your kindness, your notes, and your continued prayers and support. #jasonleejoneshope
