Janis (Coble) Christian's recovery

Janice Christian is a 71 year old woman and pillar of the Cochella valley community. With her family being one of the first ranch families in the valley Janice and her three children were all born and raised here. A once rodeo queen, Bob Hope Classic model and barrel racer is now the local pet rescuer; giving her home to more then a dozen animals. Now she is in need of your rescuing!

On Monday afternoon Janice was brutally attacked while working at the pony express in Cathedral city Ca. A man entered and viciously assaulted her with a hammer while attempting to rob the store. Janice sustained injuries to her skull, face, hands and spine. She is currently in the ICU at desert regional medical center. She is now stable, but her recovery is going to be a long arduous battle. Her family is going to need aid in her longterm care, and the longterm care of the animals (including boarding for two horses).
