Hello friends and family, 1/15/18
A couple of days ago, we received the devastating news that Jamie's Cancer had spread to three more parts of her body. We are heartbroken, confused, angry and sad. Up until this point, the tumors had shrunk twice so we were all pretty blind sighted by this. The medication trial that she was on just didn't work for her body or type of Cancer. We are at a loss.
Jamie has made the decision to travel to a treatment center in Mexico called, CHIPSA where they specialize in Stage 4 Cancer. CHIPSA utilizes cutting edge Immunotherapies and modern medicine and couples it with holistic practices. She will travel to the clinic in Mexico for hands on treatment and then come back home on an outpatient basis.
This road is not going to be easy and it's extremely expensive. Jamie will be away from her girls at a time when all she wants is to spend time with her family. She is putting everything she has into this recovery and doing everything she can to stay with us.
I've done the politely asking, I've done the, "for just one cup of coffee," we've done the cute videos, etc. I'm now down on my hands and knees, begging. Please please please help my sister. I'm trying to be optimistic and stay positive, but honestly, you guys. I'm scared. I'm so scared.
This person has devoted her life to helping disadvantaged kids. She is good. She is true. She is worth saving.
Please share this campaign and donate. It's time to buckle down. It's time to stop feeling uncomfortable about sharing something sad on your Facebook timeline. It's time to stop feeling uncomfortable about asking for help. My sister's life hangs in the balance and I can't tip toe around it anymore. I just can't.
