James Nelson recovery from burns

On June 23 2017, our son James Nelson, a diagnosed schizophrenic was having a metal breakdown in the city of Citrus Heights. The officers responded on a welfare check that eventually turned violent. James was severly injured while being held down on the hot payment by 8 poorly trained officers while handcuffed.The pavement was over 170 degrees and caused 3rd degree burns over 40% of his body. After spending close to nine weeks in the hospital and having 3 skin graphs and multiple procedures, James abrutptly lost his medical insurence and was sent home while still needing physical theraphy and adittional surgeries. James badly needs phyical therapy immediately to insure that the new skin will stretch out properly as well as needing multiple prescriptions for pain, nerve damage and burn treatments. It is going to be a long recovery process for James and he would greatly appreciate any donations that are made on his behalf.
