James Blaney’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On November 16, James had a very freak unfortunate accident involving a wood chipper while at work. He lost the majority of his left leg in the chipper. Thanks to the quick selfless thinking of his coworkers they reversed the chipper and applied a tourniquet to his leg and kept him alert until the first responders arrived. He was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and close up the leg and also the wounds to his abdomen. He spent 24 hours in the ICU and is now in a room until he goes to a rehabilitation program. It is going to be a long road of recovery.
James is a very kind caring individual, who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. It is our time to help him when he needs it the most. As he is usually the first person to reach out when everybody else needs it. We thank everyone in advance for your contributions and continued words of encouragement and support. Every little bit will help as he has to maintain car payments, rent, and many other bills. Thank you again.
