Jacobs Memorial fund
Jacob Gillitzer lost his short but full life at the age of 9 on the early morning hours on December 26th 2017 in a house fire. He is in the hands of Jesus. He leaves behind a family that is grieving the loss of an amazing son and brother. He was an amazing boy, so full of life with an unforgettable laugh and smile! Jacob's 7 year old brother Jonny was also in the fire and is being treated for smoke inhalation at this time. Please continue to pray for him. Jacob's parents Jahanna and Tom Wrobleski (and Todd Gillitzer) and their families, could use all the prayers you have as well as any donations you are able to help with to ease the financial burdens they will be facing. No parent should ever have to bury their child. We hope to come together as the strong community. A fund has been set up at so. You can also make donations at the local bank CO OP CREDIT UNON in Benson,MN under Jacobs memorial fund. Thank you!+ Read More
I will never have words worthy to describe the love and gratitude that I have in my heart for each and every one of you. Jacob was such a wonderful boy, full of love, light and laughter and my heart aches to have Him back in my arms and life. There is no book that tells you how to move on from such a tragic loss like this but God is able to do abundantly more than we can ever ask or think so my hope is in Him. I pray that God will bless each and every one of you abundantly for the love and kindness that you have given to our family. If I could give anything to you it would be the reminder to take the time to love your loved ones in action... forgive easily, be a bridge maker, take your family vacation... kiss your little ones every chance you get and never leave your words unspoken. I am so very thankful to have lived my life in that manner because I have peace knowing that I loved my son every moment in deed and action. May Jacob's life lost so soon give you the gift of freedom from the boundaries society puts on us about how we are supposed to live. May you all value what truly matters in life a little bit more. May you hold eachother a little longer each day and may you truly find time to live your life to the fullest. God bless you all,
My Name is Heather Mast. I’m from Benson MN, and a friend of Jacob’s family. I started the gofundme fundraiser to raise money to help with Jacob’s Memorial and any expenses the family my have during this difficult time. The money from donations will be transferred to an account that the family will have access to. Thank you for your support!
