Jack was in a serious snow boarding accident on February 16 2019 smashing his C5 vertebrae and was paralyzed from the neck down. He has survived surgery and was in ICU in recovery just over a week and has begun rehabilitation at Benefis in Great Falls and arrived by mercy flight March 5th, 2019 at University of Utah Inpatient Rehabilitation Center Rm 2644 50 North Medical Drive SLC UT 84132

After the rough beginnings, we
are very happy to share Jack has already made some amazing progress since his surgery, being first time up just 5 days after the accident! His resilience and progress far exceeds expectations. But there is still so much to do... The cost to rehabilitate will be massive and we would kindly ask you for help.

Jack’s life has been very active so far. Mutton Busting, ranching in Montana, snowboarding and taking photos abroad were all part of his life. He has so much potential and passion for life. He is also a very warm person with contagious smile always ready to help. He showed himself as loving son, great friend and helpful neighbour to our community. Being around him just makes you a better person, because he always sees people as nice and kind. His story to discover the world has just begun. That’s why it is so important to help him right now, so he can go on to experience life.

We would love to have you as part of our community to support Jack in those difficult times. Please keep Jack in your warm prayers, share the story and donate if you can. Every dollar counts. Together we can change what happened! Just one act of kindness from you side means the world to Jack and us. We also warmly invite you to check our daily updates as we share Jack’ progress and photos.

The cost to rehabilitate will be great but we know Jack can get through this with a little help from his friends. Please donate if you can and keep him lifted up in prayer for this journey has just begun. We will update as we know more.

Jack’s mom Jaelene has been by his side since the accident. His brother Wil returned home from New Zealand to help care for Jack on this incredible journey.

Late night update on jack: midnight call. Jack is not in massive muscle spasms. Valium administered orally seems to be the tickets to control and help him sleep. Jack has another bladder infection. They are administering this orally. He is depressed, talks to me in a monotones voice, and extremely frustrated. I am at a lost for words. We need a miracle. My boy is struggling to stay on this planet. Thank you for your prayers.

Tragedy transforms the life of the entire family. 2 months ago tomorrow Jack went ski boarding and crushed his C5 vertebrae and damaged several others. He was paralyzed from the neck down and has been making some progress in rehab and regaining some strength in his arms so far. Praying for miracles that Jack will walk again! please join me to envision the specific process that will actually heal his nerves and spinal cord. The myelin sheath is wrapped around the nerve axon in a spiral pattern and facilitates the conduction of electrical impulses through the nerve cells.
Hopefully our collective presence in this vision will bring the energy necessary for healing. All prayers and support needed to help Jack on the incredible challenges he faces daily learning and working hard! Thank you for your support of our amazing young man on Jack’s Journey.
