Jack's FTM Transition
Hi! My name's Jack and I'm 18 years old. I'm FTM transgender and looking to fund my transition with all the help I can get.
This year with the help of my beautiful mother, I managed to finally escape my abusive home situation and am living on my own, I have a budget of $200 each fortnight but even with skimping out on decent food or skipping my phone bill everynow and then this leaves very little to put towards my transition savings.
Both my parents are unemployed due to being disabled and rely on government funding themselves so I have to fund my transition completely by myself. My mental illnesses and lack of transportation outisde of public transport have been huge barriers in being able to get a job to fund my transition. However, I'm going to try my best to find a job(s) despite this, but still need all the help I can get.
My savings and donations will go towards:
Name Change - $171
Birth Marker Change - $150
First Year on Testosterone - $568
Top Surgery - $8000
I've been out to myself as trans for 4 years now, and the wait to become who I am has been incredibly taxing on my mental and emotional health (And it wasnt great to begin with, frankly). Being able to even just start T and change my name would literally change my life and improve my well-being dramatically, I could finally be comfortable and happy with myself. Without help, it will take me years to achieve this, I'll appreciate even the tiniest contribution.
