When others may have given up, Jackie Lynton keeps on fighting: “When your life takes an unexpected turn, you receive the dreaded news that you have cancer, your whole life flashes before you. An overwhelming feeling of death with an underlying message to get your affairs in order, forced me to get in-touch with my vulnerability, my purpose and my calling. I have dedicated my life to serving others, people who needed a voice or have been marginalized and I want to continue to serve; giving hope and inspiring HOPE in others.”

Jackie was diagnosed with cancer on the 8th Nov 2016. The grapefruit sized tumour had grown in her appendix, spread to the colon, causing eventual collapse of her right kidney. In her critical state, the doctors informed her the tumours were too advanced for surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.  Left feeling without hope, she was sent home on hospice and palliative care as another casualty of the war against cancer, which has touched all of us.

Six months ago in hospital

Jackie's prognosis left her feeling she had nowhere to turn but her faith. Where others may have accepted this, she had hope and sought professional guidance with alternative and natural treatments supported by Lilybeth and Roliand Reynolds.  From leaving hospital, Jackie lost 3 stones in weight, developed sepsis, was unable to walk unaireded, talk without gasping for breath or carry out any personal care. In the months that followed Jackie has gained strength and continues to improve. Jackie attributes this to an outpouring of prayer, love and support from across the world.

Exactly six months on, through hope and faith, Jackie has defied the prognosis of not surviving discharge from hospital.

Four months on at home

Celebrating 6 months on since diagnosis

However, Jackie's care has come with a demanding price of £15,000 so far. After careful consultation it’s Jackie’s wish to take her treatment to the next level as soon as possible. Further integrated treatments will include: 6 cycles of oncology treatment over 3 months in Turkey, intensive rehabilitaion and follow on treatments. These are Jackie’s immediate costs approximated at £40k. We want to raise as much as we can to support her treatment.

As friends of Jackie, we want to show our support for her courageous fight. To Joe for his untiring love, and their three daughters Jada, Chloe and Loi. Jackie’s will to live goes far beyond an unwillingness to die. It’s a fight to continue her mission. A fight for hope over fear. Where would any of us be without hope. It’s everything.
Please join us by donating to Jackie’s fight for life.

We appreciate all the support and love Jackie has already been given. Please donate what you can and share this link as widely as possible in your networks.
If you decide to run an initiative to support this campaign we would love to hear about it. Thank you.

After lots of research and planning Jackie decided to go to Turkey to start treatment. The clinic in Turkey has a way of not giving false hope, but giving you the best chance of healing using an integrated approach of conventional and alternative treatments. They are the only place who are using their particular approach which they have refined over the last 5 years, where they can show their outstanding outcomes. A particular reason why Jackie chose them. The conventional treatment of low dose chemo is very gentle that keeps the side affects to a minimum, augmented by the alternative treatments of hyperbaric oxygen, hyperthermia, supplements and a range of infusions.
After the first cycle of treatment Jackie is feeling better after an initial tough start and getting stronger each day. For the first Tim since diagnosis no pain! It's been tough going and the treatment will mean 6 cycles over the next 3 months.
We are praying for a full recovery and thank everyone who has donated, prayed and held Jackie, Joe and family in their thoughts. Your donations have been an enormous help and we are thankful for that. So we want to keep going to ensure Jackie can complete all her treatments. Please keep sharing the link.
Don't forget you can hear Jackie's story through music, dance and poetry at the fundraising event we're planning at the MAC theatre in Birmingham Sept 17th. Get your tickets here: https://macbirmingham.co.uk/event/jackies-fight-for-life

Thanks so much to everyone getting us past our first 10k. It has been humbling to see the support offered at such a crucial time for Jackie, Joe and family. Jackie continues to make progress and is fighting on. As always, Jackie is full of hope despite continued pain.

Jackie and Joe's plans are to use the money raised to get Jackie to a residential complimentary oncology treatment centre which they are researching for right now, probably in Europe in July/Aug 2017. The funds have already enabled Jackie to start intravenous infusions which are going well.

Here's another amazing thing; due to the various fundraising activities taking part across the UK, another 5k has been raised!! More events are planned for June and we will be giving you more details soon.

By the way if 50 people that have already donated can ask another 5 people each to donate 20 pounds each we'll be at 20k. Corporations and sole traders are welcome to ring Francesca or Joan as we are seeking 10 donations of £1000 plus! Please continue to help get to our goal for Jackie's 'fight for life'.

Listen to Jackie's message and share it widely with others.

150 people and just over 7 days later since we began our fundraiser for Jackie’s ‘fight for life’, we are so very thankful and amazed at the support and willingness of so many to give generously and whatever they can, to Jackie, Joe and family.

You have raised over 7,000 pounds in seven days and yes, that’s £1000 per day! Thank you all so very much. We know that people are sharing and retweeting the https://www.gofundme.com/jackies-fight-for-life link. Others are organising fundraising events in communities, churches and elsewhere. Still others are raising family funding targets of over £1000 per family. Please keep up the support.

Jackie is doing really well. She has reached an amazing milestone of having an alkaline body that cancer cannot survive in. She is living proof that the NHS conventional methods are not the only and certainly not the best methods for everyone's fight for life against cancer.

This campaign is about reality, it's not a game, and all of you have proved that. It’s a times like these that we remember people and communities across the world, from all walks of life still care and can pull together despite negative world events.

Again, Thank you and blessings. Keep inspiring, empowering and praying for Jackie, Joe and family, sharing the news of ‘Jackie’s fight for life’.
