Peekskill " FIRE " - RELIEF FUND
This GO FUND ME Fundraising for the 3 Families displaced by the Peekskill FIRE is "in addition to" Mayor Catalina & his daughter Andrea's Fire Relief Fund.
Whatever is collected HERE will be turned over to them to combine Funds.
BACKGROUND:
On Wednesday, March 4th, 2015, a Blazing Inferno completely destroyed an Apartment Building in Peekskill, leaving 3 Families totaling 8 Adults & 6 adorable children (1 infant, 3 yo Girl; 2 - 10 yo boys; 2 - 9 yo boys} ) HOMELESS!
The distraught young mother of the infant went to the Common Council Meeting, pleading for Help because she didn't even have formula for her baby !
When I asked one of the Mothers who was in tears the night of the Fire, "what do you need?" She replied, "Everything, we have nothing left, everything is gone ! The FIRE destroyed everything ! Thank God nobody was hurt though."
It tore my heart apart to hear her agony.
So I'm asking everyone who cares about helping our demoralized neighbors, to open up their hearts & pocketbooks, and contribute whatever they can afford. Even $1 will help, if we all freely GIVE.
