Ivy's TPLO Surgery

Hey everyone!
Just a little background information, my name’s Shauna McCue and i’m currently a student with a 3 year old boxer named Ivy :)
Ivy is a hilarious, outgoing and super playful/energetic
dog. Sadly she injured herself some time ago and we thought she was okay until she recently had another accident. We were referred to the Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador and finally got answers concerning what’s wrong. Ivy has a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament. I know, to many that may mean nothing so it really means she has a canine ACL injury, the same that can occur in humans. This is going to be fixed with TPLO surgery, this surgery is going to completely change the dynamics of Ivy’s knee so that the torn ligament becomes irrelevant.
Unfortunately that wasn’t the only thing we discovered, we also learned that her other leg may need to be operated on as well, which we won’t actually find out until the day of surgery. So as of right now we can only mentally prepare for that possibility. Anyone who is an animal owner knows that these expenses are very sudden and costly. The surgeries and post operatory rehabilitation for Ivy is going to be expensive and we would really appreciate your help! Any donation at all
