The young Slovak girl Ivanka needs to undergo last craniofacial surgery in 17 august 2018 in CHICAGO . She will be the first European child to go through the treatment of the Goldenhar syndrome in the United States. The costs of the postoperative craniofacial reconvalescention, flights and expensive drugs however reaches an unbelievable amount of 30000 USD . Ivanka has only 7 WEEKS for her hope , but doesn’t give up.
Ivanka is one of triplets and was born with the Goldenhar syndrome. The Goldenhar syndrome is an extremely rare diagnosis - hemifacial microsomia. She underwent several serious heart surgeries and is fighting serious leukemia for the third time after the death of her parents. She is fighting with cardiac arrhytmia and she is waiting for next cardiac surgery . In spite of her difficult life circumstances, Ivanka has not given up but started to fight for her chances to live a full life.
My craniofacial fight - which is my VICTORY within reach - has not only opened the door to a better future but it has mainly brought me the FEELING of having had a surgery of my skull, of having all important craniofacial bones for the first time in my life, of having a temporomandibular joint for the first time in my life, as well as mandibular and cheek bones, of hearing with my right ear for the first time in my life and of eating on the right side for the first time in my life. ( I was born without zygoma bone, mandible bone, temporomandibular joint , with microtia of my eye, and with very small of my orbital bone )
When I look back at the hard and painful journey I had to take in my craniofacial fight during the last two years, through the challenging fight with leukemia (which I have been successfully fighting against for a third time already), the demanding cardiologic fight with my arrhythmia, acute abdomen, the unfavorable attitudes of people, without support of my whole family because they refused to accept me and to help me, the death of my beloved parents and of my beloved grandpa, I AM CRYING.

The campaign aim is to help children with the Goldenhar syndrome. Through this campaign, Ivanka is trying to collect money for her surgery. Ivanka successfully underwent the first 11-hour-long craniofacial surgery as well as the second craniofacial surgery that lasted 20 unbelievably long hours in the USA.
Ivanka’s chances for the third vitally important craniofacial surgery are diminishing every day. Let’s not be indifferent, don’t let Ivanka’s voice be silenced. Let’s hear her plea for a new LIFE.
