Ivan Koloff Memorial Fund
We are saddened that he is no longer here with us but we rejoice in knowing where he is; with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He has received his healing.
My dad was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis about 10 years ago but he chose not to make this announcement public to his fans and friends.
Instead, he wanted to follow doctors orders and keep on going out and spreading God's Word. In previous years, my dad enjoyed staying busy trying to help as many people as he could.
He enjoyed making wrestling appearances, helping with various fundraisers (such as signing autographs to support Children's Miracle Network), among other appearances over the years since he retired from wrestling in 1989, earning extra money to offset his disability check. He enjoyed meeting his fans and friends and having my mom, Renae, travel with him to help him.
After a bad report from the doctors, that cancer had shown up on his liver and was inoperable, he was no longer able to travel or make appearances. His liver function was failing. We were saddend and shocked at how fast things progressed but we are thankful he did not suffer. He passed away Saturday, February 18, peacefully with my mother, Renae, by his side.
Our family appreciates ANY financial help that you feel that you are able to give, no matter how small, during this most difficult time.
100% of donations made in memory of my dad will go directly to Renae, his wife.
If you are unable to donate, please keep our family in your prayers. Thank You so very much and May God Bless You!
If you would like to send a note to our family, send them to:
PO Box 2673

Our family wishes to keep the memorial fund up for an extended period of time. Some have asked how they can help or what they could do to honor Ivan so we felt that this would be the best way to do so. Any donations made to the Ivan Koloff Memorial Fund will be given directly to his family.
Thank You & May God Bless You.
Roger Bryant was that comment really necessary?? He wrestled in the 80's when the guys made nowhere near what they make now. Have some respect for the family and for a legend. I am sure you have better things to do with your life then sit here and write negative stuff.
I would love to donate but just cannot swing it financially at this time but really would like to congratulate the "RUSSIAN BEAR" Ivan Koloff for being inducted into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame. You certainly deserve it. You were one of the very best ever to step into the ring. God Bless You & your family!!!

Rachel, dear this is Toni please give my love to your father and mother. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are to you all. As we know God is our main physician and may he bring forth a ultimate healing for your father. We all are sending our prayers for your family. Please let your father and mother know I am in deep prayers and much love to you all...Toni
Huge fan of the bear, still have many of his great interviews on my vcr tapes saved and myself and a friend practically know some by heart, and even leave his old interview rants as "messages" on each others answering machine instead if leaving our own personal voice message. Had the pleasure of meeting him after matches one time , he was the nicest gentleman you could possibly meet.I will be sending a small donation and a card personally to him and hope he does get to read it. Prayers to all.
Praying for your dad and the rest of your family.
As a born Canadian Ivan is still considered a citizen therefore eligible for Canadian medicare benefits. I know that moving back to Canada is probably not something that he has considered, but he still has that right.
I met your dad and mom back in 2011 at Expoland at the AWE Night Of Legends in Fisherville Virginia when he was there signing autographs I didnt have money to pay for autographs and he and Short Sleeve Sampson called me over and I was so nervous but they graciously signed my t-shirt and just took time to talk to me I will always have that memory in my head shows how great of a man he is I pray God's blessings on him and your family as well im sorry I can't do more then just a note hope it helps a bit
I have met you dad several times over the years that I lived in Greenville and Grifton NC. I can not afford to donate but I did share your post. Prayers for you and your family. Your dad has always had a down to earth attitude and just wanted to spread the word of God and God will keep him in his loving arms both here on earth and one day in Heaven we will all meet again
My prayers go out to Ivan Koloff and his family. I pray for complete healing in Jesus name. I rest assured knowing that he will spend eternity in Heaven. Everyone that accepts the free gift of Salvation will be saved to live in Heaven for eternity. I would rather accept the free gift of Salvation than die, and literally feel the hot flames of hell.
You have always been a class act to my wife Kelli and I. We are praying for you,Renae and your entire family. Pro Wrestling World in Allentown,PA. also is praying for you as well.
Ivan Koloff is an all-time great and one of my childhood heroes. I saw him main-event Madison Square Garden and other East Coast arenas so many times. Folk should support this and WWE should put him in their Hall of Fame- few deserve it more than Ivan. Get well soon, champ. And thank you for all the great memories.
