Issac Kofroth Medical Fund

My little brother, Issac Kofroth underwent emergency open heart surgery last Saturday. He was born with a heart defect that went unnocited for most of his life. The situation was so severe that his heart was sending blood clots to other parts of his body. Hence, the urgency of the surgery. He was helicoptered to Duke in the early morning hours of last Saturday and the aortic valve replacement surgery was done later that day. He is still at Duke and we do not know when he will be released.

Issac does not have health insurance and the cost of what he has been through is unimaginable. Issac will be recovering and thus unable to work for the next 6-12 months. We are asking for help in covering some of the cost of the healthcare he has received and for the cost of the care he still has to manage once he is released from the hospital.
