This project began two years ago after discovering how many people sought the authentic experience of their destination through culture, cuisine, and natural beauty but ended up settling for generic tourist traps.
We are a passionate team of twelve wanderers that have one common desire: we love to roam. It wasn’t until we connected with locals and seasoned travelers who shared their wisdom, that we achieved the elevated and memorable travel we had dreamt of. We believe that the ability to have personal interactions with someone that has “been there and done that” provides far more value and credibility than anything we could have found by wasting hours scrolling through the internet.
iRoam is a social platform that connects like-minded travelers, to share ideas, uncover hidden gems, and create unique experiences with new travel companions. We allow you to create a virtual roadmap of your travel goals and experiences. iRoam is ideal for the average traveler eager to experience new places, cultures, cuisines, and activities, but unsure of where to start.
