I’M EXTREMELY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THE PUBLISHING OF MY NEW BOOK!

THE DETAILS
Instant Honey is a monograph containing a collective of my 2018 works that will be published by Aint-Bad in March 2019. The book will be a cloth hardcover available to purchase through the Aint-Bad website and will be a limited print run of 200 copies.

My vision as an artist this year was to publish a book made from selected works created in 2018. In partnership with Aint-Bad, I’m happy to be able to make a high quality book and get it into your hands!

Instant Honey captures and explores a suburban summer, specifically in the western Chicago area. By focusing on seemingly simple subjects and extraordinary summer light, Instant Honey provokes undisputed feelings of nostalgia and warmth. You'll Instantly feel a connection to these photographs.

Three years ago when I started taking photography a little more seriously, I would have never guessed that I would be at the point where I am. At that time I was lost, struggling with horrible anxiety and depression in my life. I’m very proud of the work I have been able to produce and I’m humbled by each one of you that has followed me along on this journey so far.

THE GOAL
With the help of friends , family, and online community, I’m looking to raise funds for the cost of the print run and to help bring this book to life. Publishing a book is no cheap endeavor and that’s why I need your help now more than ever. I’d love to pay for the printing of the books out of my own pocket, but that’s just not feasible at this moment in my life (especially with 2 kids).

By partnering with Aint- Bad, I’ll be able to print a much higher quality, and less expensive book than self publishing. I’d like to make this book something you can go back and flip through for a very very long time!

All project donors will have their name in the "Special Thanks" section of the book! (cutoff is December 1st)

Project donors will also have first access to purchasing the book in March.

The project funding goal is $4,000 USD

All donations go directly to the cost of printing the monograph. Donations will directly pay for the printing of the book only. Again, by partnering with Aint-Bad, I'll be able to create a cost effective, high quality book for you guys to purchase in March!
