Hurricane Harvey has caused widespread, catastrophic flooding and damage in Texas and along the Gulf Coast.
In collaboration with the INSPIRE Network, IPSS, and the SSH Pediatric Special Interest Group , this GoFundMe Canadian-based campaign supports our friends and colleagues in the Houston pediatric simulation community affected by the hurricane.
Harvey has had devastating effects - many of our friends in the simulation community have been displaced due to flooding of their homes.

Thank you for your generous donations and helping us to successfully reach our fundraising goal!
Your generosity will support Houston simulation staff members affected by Hurricane Harvey. Particularly two sim staff who were substantially affected, one has had significant flooding directly, does have some insurance coverage, but will be out of their house for 6-9 months in temporary housing; the other had a lot of roof damage that led to flooding that will not be covered.
The Co-Chair of the INSPIRE Network, Adam Cheng, will be withdrawing the funds and writing cheques directly to the individuals discussed above, evenly distributing all funds collected between the two.
