"Inside Water" Short Film

Major Update - WE ARE NEARLY THERE
After an incredible 6 days of filming in the dust and heat with an amazing company of actors, crew and community members we are well on our way to finishing INSIDE WATER! Through the craziness of shooting; 5am starts, racing against the sun, killing two cars, wrangling utes, motorbikes, dogs and a fire truck, busing around fifteen hard working crew from homestead to shearing shed to rocky ridge line back to homestead, much needed lunch deliveries, delicious dinners, moving sheep, eating dust, swallowing flies, crying, singing, yelling, laughing we have crafted a film we are so incredibly excited to share with you!

We are now entering post-production, the stage of the film making process where we edit the film and add in all the final elements to make Inside Water look and sound the best it possibly can. We have assembled a brilliant collection of people to contribute to the final touches but we need your help to get us across the line!
In order to successfully complete the film we need to reach our target of $15,000. These funds will go towards;
Composing original score
Paying professional musicians to record our score
ADR and Foley
Theatrical sound mix
Visual effects
Color grading
These funds will also allow us to enter INSIDE WATER into film festivals both here in Australia and overseas. Though we hope to enter the film into many high calibre festivals, to submit the film does not come free of charge. So your contributions will genuinely help get the film out into the world!

The journey of making this film has been extraordinary, from the birth of an idea to the emergence of a script then transformed into reality with locations, cameras and actors and now to see it all come together in small, quiet offices we can't ignore the vast amount of encouraging, passionate, inspiring and talented hands that have helped build this little film. We are all very proud of it and so thankful for you all for being apart of the journey with us.

The Film:
"Inside Water" is a short film that follows a young man working a failing farm amidst the most severe drought on record and a devastating gloabal economic colapse.
After his father committed suicide, Matthew has had to take on the responsoiblites of managing the faltering sheep station, as well as caring for his younger brother and grandmmother.
Set against the backdrop of the harsh and unforgiving Australian bush, Matthew must protect his family and his most precious resource, water, from a rising and relentless threat.

So far:
Work has already begun on "Inside Water" but we still have a long way to go. And we want you to be a part of it.
Right now, we are gearing up to start the production stage. We have assembled a team of incredibly talented cast and crew, and with your support we hope to begin filming in late April 2018.

What will the funds be used for?
We aim to use the funds raised to pay for production costs such as:
Camera and lighting equipment
Travel and accomodation costs
Cast and crew catering
Costume, Props and Make up costs
We also hope to use the funds to cover the costs of post production, which include:
Score composition and recording
Musician hire
Sound mixing
Colour grading
Visual effects
The funds raised through this campaign will also contribute to the costs incured with submitting our film to film festivals both here in Australia and overseas.
