In Memory Of Maria & Jasmine Lao

$30,350 of $15,000 goal

Raised by 332 people in 6 months
Created October 12, 2018
In loving memory of Maria Wong, 59 years old, a single hard-working mother, and Jasmine Lao, 21 years old, a beloved sister were tragically killed in a head-on collision on Friday, October 12th.
Maria and Jasmine leaves behind their children/sibling Michelle Lao, age 22, and Phillip Lao, age 19. At this time, it is unknown the amount of support Michelle and Phillip will need but any assistance of any kind would be greatly appreciated. We are asking for donations to perform their burial rights in their hometown, Roseburg, OR. as well as legal costs due to this being a homicide case. The money will be provided to their respective family so that they are able to take this time off work as well during this time of grieving.
Please pray for the family as they continue to grieve the loss of their loved ones. Thank you all in advance for your support and prayers.

Thank you for all your donations and support. A lot of you, my brother and I don't even know, but we can see how big your hearts are. So we'd like to let all of you know that the funeral will be on Oct. 27th at Mountain View Funeral and Memorial in Lakewood. The Service will be at 3pm but the viewing will be from 9am-8pm in case of your work schedules so that you'll see get to see them. I'd also like to tell you in advance, since we're doing open casket, that the accident was very traumatic. So if you choose not to see them but still want to attend the funeral/viewing we'd still very much like that.

It's been a really tough time for the entire family. I was able to get some sleep last night so my heads a little more clear, but my heart is still aching. There's still so much that needs to be done but seeing all the support that we've been getting makes it better. I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of the kinds words, donations and for sharing articles/posts. I hope my Sister and my Mom can feel the huge amount of love that everyone has for them and I hope they're looking down at us with their beautiful smiles. - Michelle
