Paws for the Cause

Jaelyn Everett is a senior at Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School (Indianapolis, IN). Jaelyn is required to complete a year-long research-based Capstone project. Jaelyn has a passion for working with animals and volunteering at her local animal hospital. Throughout the first semester, she has spent her time researching about animal abuse and her topic question that she has developed from the research is, 'What are the human behavioral patterns that affect the relationship between humans and animals?'. Towards the end of her senior year, Jaelyn is also required to display her research in the form of an event. After this event, in April, she is then to present her entire year of research to a panel of judges in order to graduate.

The 'Paws for the Cause' event will be a great way to spend time with your canine companion. The day will consist of a dog wash, dog walk, and also a dog clinic if you are wanting to sign your dog up for a quick check-up. There will be food and snacks provided for both you and your dog! All proceeds from both the event and GoFundMe will be donated to the Hamilton County Humane Society, to help those animals who have been victims of animal abuse.
