La maison de nos parents a brulée dans la nuit du mardi 20 au mercredi 21 juin suite au feu qui s'est répandu depuis la maison voisine. Heureusement, Papa s'est réveillé en sentant la fumée, a pu réveiller Maman et vite sortir de la maison.
Personne n'a été blessé. Par contre la toiture ainsi que les étages supérieures ont été détruits par le feu, et le reste de la maison inondée suite à l'intervention des pompiers.
Nos parents doivent être relogés jusqu'à la fin des travaux (les experts doivent encore définir la durée et l'ampleur de ceux-ci).
Hier nous avons appris que tous leurs meubles ne seront pas remboursés à neuf. Ils ont le droit à des meubles d'occasion donnés par l'assurance mais rien d'autre.
Nous aimerons pouvoir récolter 30'000 CHF afin qu'ils puissent meubler à neuf et décorer leur maison comme ils le souhaitent et recréer l'atmosphère accueillante et pleine d'amour que leur maison porte ainsi que les frais engendrés par le relogement.

Our parents house burnt during the night of the 20th of June. The fire started in the house next door and touched their house. Thankfully, Dad woke up to the smell of smoke, woke Mum up and were able to get out of the house quickly.
We are glad that no one was hurt. But the roof, 3rd and 4th story of the house were ravage by the fire, and the rest of the house flooded after the firemen's intervention.
Our parents have to move out of the house until the house work is done (the experts still have to determine all that needs to be done).
Yesterday our parents found out that their insurance wasn't going to cover the full reimboursement of all their furniture. The insurance only offers second hand furniture.Â
We want to collect 30'000 CHF for them to be able to refurnish their house into the loving and welcoming home we know and cover the costs having to live elsewhere until the construction work is done.
Thank you for your love and generosity towards our parents. We are forever thankful.
