This could have been another beautiful life story if NOT came abruptly to a closure.

My cousin Sharath, was a victim of the shooting inside J's Fish and Chicken Market located at 5412 Prospect Ave, Kansas City, Missouri on July 06, 2018.

Sharath Koppu is an Indian Computer Engineer who came to the USA in the month of Jan 2018. Sharath is known to his family and friends as full of dreams, cheerful, energetic and athletic. In the pursuit of his dreams, he moved to USA to do his Masters. He had the same dreams like everyone else to make it BIG in the land of opportunity. He had a great sense of humor, and always made people laugh and was always eager to lend a helping hand.

Little did anybody know that life is about to take a big unfortunate turn on a fateful day of July 6th 2018.

When officers arrived J's Fish and Chicken Market, they found wounded sharath and was taken to a near by hospital where he later died. Friends, Family and everyone who knew him were in deep shock and having a hard time to believe the news.

Sharath will be missed not only by his family, but by everyone whose life he touched. Sharath's body is being sent to India for cremation. As a co-human being, we cannot end the pain caused to his family but can share the grievance and extend our support to ease the financial burden because of his sudden death.

Please Pray For Him!!! We would greatly appreciate any kind of support, not just monetary. Your prayers, thoughts, and energy will go a long way.

The funds collected will be used to help Sharath's body reach India safely for last rites.

The funds will be withdrawn by me (Raghavender Chowdavaram).

Please help us share this page and raise awareness for Sharath.

We thank each and every one of you for supporting Sharath and his family in his time of need and we will continue to update this page about his progress.

Thank you and God bless you!
