In Memory of Radiant and Resilient Rigoberto

It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell to our brother, a great friend and father, Rigoberto.  He, unfortunately, suffered a heart attack and irreversible brain damage on July 21st. As a family, we knew he would not like to be on life support and chose to give him eternal peace. Personally, he is like a father to me and my family would like to commemorate his life. Rigoberto was a man full of vitality, always giving, and always smiling. There was not a time I did not see him offer a helping hand to family, friends, and strangers alike. He was always hardworking, juggling several jobs including construction work, Labriola, Uber, Lyft, and Amazon. The world is left without a great soul, but we all believe he is in better hands now, and in a place without suffering or pain. He leaves behind his spouse and young children - Katie, Jacob, and Emily. We ask for your support in this time of grief. 

It is unfortunate, but there are a lot of medical bills, funeral arrangements, and an immense debt that comes with this loss. More so, he was not able to get any health insurance, so we are bearing the full blunt of all medical costs. As a family, we will try to take care of what we can but the sad reality is that this time of economic pressure leaves several of us without the means to cover all expenses. If you find it in your heart to lend a helping hand or would like to show support in some way, please donate to this fund. We would use your generosity to cover medical costs, expenses, and help his children through a trust fund. Any donation, regardless of how small, is greatly appreciated. Es con gran pesar que nos despedimos de nuestro hermano, un gran amigo y padre, Rigoberto. Él, desafortunadamente, sufrió un ataque al corazón y un daño cerebral irreversible el 21 de julio. Como familia, sabíamos que no le gustaría estar con soporte vital y decidimos darle la paz eterna. Personalmente, él es como un padre para mí y a mi familia le gustaría conmemorar su vida. Rigoberto era un hombre lleno de vitalidad, siempre generoso y siempre sonriente. No hubo un momento en que no lo vi ofrecer una mano de apoyo a familiares, amigos y extraños por igual. Siempre fue trabajador, haciendo malabarismos con varios trabajos, incluidos trabajo de construcción, Labriola, Uber, Lyft y Amazon. El mundo se queda sin un gran alma, pero todos creemos que ahora está en mejores manos y en un lugar sin sufrimiento ni dolor. Él deja a su cónyuge e hijos pequeños: Katie, Jacob y Emily. Pedimos su apoyo en este momento de dolor.

Es lamentable, pero hay muchas facturas médicas, arreglos funerarios y una inmensa deuda que viene con esta pérdida. Más aún, no pudo obtener ningún seguro de salud, por lo que estamos asumiendo la totalidad de todos los costos médicos. Como familia, trataremos de cubrir lo que podamos, pero la triste realidad es que en este tiempo de presión económica nos deja a varios de nosotros sin los medios para cubrir todos los gastos. Si encuentra en su corazón echar una mano o le gustaría mostrar apoyo de alguna manera, por favor done a este fondo. Usaríamos su generosidad para cubrir costos médicos, gastos y ayudar a sus hijos a través de un fondo fiduciario. Cualquier donación, independientemente de lo pequeña que sea, es muy apreciada.
