In memory of our co-worker Marvin Hawkins

We have tragic news to share with our community. Our friend and coworker Marvin Hawkins was shot and killed this past Monday.

If you visited Red Emma's in the last couple of months, you probably saw Marvin running around the dining room bussing tables and delivering clean glasses and plates. He was just 27 years old, and working hard to rebuild his life after a 7-year prison sentence. Our thoughts are with his family, who have to bury a son and a father. We are raising money to honor his memory and help his family pay for the costs of burial.

All money raised by this campaign will go directly to Marvin's family.
