In Memory of John Weiler

Our wonderful husband and father John Weiler died peacefully on April 7.   At 88 and with Alzheimer’s, he didn’t always remember places or faces, but he always knew the farm.   When we brought him to see his childhood home, he would always recall the barn.    It’s where he grew up, where he took care of the cows and other animals.   Everyone fondly remembers hay  rides behind his beloved 1948 Ford tractor.

In in his honor, the family would like to save the barn and hope it stands for another 150 years so Papa’s grandchildren and great grandchildren can come share in the farm he loved so much.
