Alyssa Alhadeff Scholarship Fund

$15,247 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 139 people in 3 months
Created February 16, 2018
Many of us were profoundly affected by Wednesday’s tragedy in Parkland. It hit way too close to home as I grew up with Alyssa’s dad, and then ironically, he raised his family in Woodcliff Lake before moving to FL.
In times like these we want to help but often don’t know what to do or where to start. After talking with our graduating high school class, we decided that a Soccer Scholarship in Alyssa’s honor would allow her memory to live on forever. I was able to speak with her coach, Alfredo, from Parkland Soccer Club, Inc.   He then spoke with Lori and Ilan (Alyssa’s parents) about our intentions. The soccer club is in the process of establishing a scholarship fund in memory of Alyssa to help future players and inspire others to achieve their goals and chase their passions. All funds will go directly to the scholarship.
