In Memories of Steven Reinhardt

Steve was my best friend - a Friend who was always there, who always had his cloak of love around me. He was a very special person and I believe that everyone who knew him would completely agree. With his war stories, with his political arguments and with his hour long chats sometimes he drove me up to a tree. He always had something to argue about and he could talk for hours just about any subjects. If you didnt agree with him, he would hang up on you sometimes and an hour later would call back to apologize. He was a real gentleman, he always held the door open for women, he always stood up when someone got up, he always dressed up properly for traveling and of course he made fun of people who did not. He had style - just like his dad whom he adored.  He gave up his last penny for people in need and he was always the first to help with anything. He loved to complain sometimes but he always said - hey I am allowed to whine while I am doing it. He was amazingly bright and his heart was bigger than the whole univerese. He loved his friends and most of all, he loved his standard poodle - Max (Boo). His sudden passing left a big hole in everyone's heart who knew him and loved him. 

He used to wait for me after running with a bottle of water and towel. My favorite path was the BWI Trail. My plan is to have a memorial bench along the trail that he spent so much time waiting for me. I know how much this would mean to him and it would be a long lasting memory to celebrate his life.
