In Loving Memory of Michael Twiss
Michael was a beloved husband and father and, for those of us who played with him, a hell of a teammate. While most of us know him because of hockey, his influence stretches beyond just that community. He was always outspoken and fiercely competitive and most of us will choose to remember him as a fighter, a leader, and a friend.
All of our thoughts and prayers are with his family now. There is little that can be done to ease the pain of those whom he loved and that loved him. As a community of acquaintances, associates, teammates, friends and family we'd like you to consider helping however you can. Any money raised here will be given to the family for their needs in the coming days, weeks, and months. We hope you will all use this fund as an outlet to express your sympathies and share your condolences. There will be expenses associated with this sad event and as our show of support we hope to ease that burden for the family.
Michael Twiss was a good friend and a great family man. He will be sorely missed and we want his family to know that they are loved. Thank you for your contribution.
We would like to thank everyone for the tremendous amount of support we have received during this very difficult time. We are extremely proud to see the affect that Michael had on the community. The support we have received has and will continue to make this process easier for us and we can't thank everyone enough for all that you have done.
With our deepest and sincerest thanks,
Debbie, Ryan, Tyler and Kyle Twiss
I am so sorry - I am just finding this out today because I don't go out to Facebook a lot. My sincerest condolences from the Poissant Family. We all grew up with Michael and his brothers - it was nothing but an honor to be associated with the Twiss Family for all of these years. Michael always had a kind heart, laugh, and was a great family man. I can't imagine your loss - and the loss to your community. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time. Bud would be so proud of him, and the three boys he raised with you Debbie. Much love Ellen
Our family did not know your husband/father personally, however with such a tight knit community we have here in North Raleigh/Wake Forest, our family would like to share our most sincere condolences. Prayers for supernatural healing of comfort to ease your pain as only our Lord can do. Clearly your beloved has a wonderful legacy left behind. He will forever be proud of you all ♥
